"Clarence" and I are going to get to know each other real well.  He is getting prepped for his adventure right now, on Feb. 7th we begin our journey together from Walla Walla Wa to Pittsburgh, by way of Arizona.   Thats the plan anyhow. "Clarence" is a 1953 Willy Truck, over the years he has gained a lot of character, I think we will have a great working relationshp, as some of you know I have some of the same bumps, bruises and character traits as "Clarence."

"Clarence" has taken life slow, not trying to get anywhere fast, enjoying the journey wherever he goes.  Our top speed as we cruise the backroads of America will be somewhere around 45 MPH.  Stopping frequently to replenish on gas and oil.  The path of our journey is yet to be determined, we will decide which way to go when we arrive.  Theres been a hankering to head towards Death Valley, and then make a left.

"Clarence" comes fully equipped with a steering wheel, a 3 speed gear shift and headlights.  The tunes we sing will be determine by the rythem of the wheels on the pavement and the songs in our hearts.  So watch the back roads for "Clarence" and I to come meandering though your town on our wild crazy adventure.

Via modern technology, most of which I havent figured out yet, "Clarence" and I will be giving updates via this blog on the progress of our journey, hopefully wih pictures and videos of some of the places we pass on our way to the Pittsburgh Strip District.
